I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Autonomous Robots and Vehicles Laboratory (ARVL), Virginia Commonwealth University. My academic background comprises a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
My research interests comprise reinforcement learning, deep learning and optimal control applied at the intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence across embodiments that include humanoids and autonomous vehicles.
Outside of robotics and research, I enjoy hiking, biking, weightlifting, photography, and video games.
